Bhutan, Sikkim & Darjeeling

Departure Dates: provided upon request

Bhutan is a tiny Buddhist kingdom tucked away among the great Himalayan mountain peaks on the border of Tibet.

This area is virtually quaint, beautiful, exciting, and out-of-this-world. Now we have developed, an ideal tour of that remote and lugubriously quaint part of the world - and at an ideal time to be going. It is important to go at a time when the world's greatest mountain peaks are least likely to be obscured by clouds. For ages, these great mountain peaks have protected Bhutan from enemies, and therefore are thought of as gods to be worshipped.

We'll be visiting not only the Paro Valley, Thimphu, Punakha, and Phuntsholing in Bhutan, we will also be visiting Gangtok, the capital of the old kingdom of Sikkim. (Remember Hope Cook, the American who married the king?)

Of course, we would not visit that part of the world without going to Darjeeling, spectacularly located on a mountain top, and with its reminders of the English raj. This is a comprehensive tour of that part of the world, and we would like to share it with you.

Not many offer this part of the world, but we do!

Several Itineraries to choose from.
